San Francisco Happy Hour

So had a sweet old happy hour at Tunnel top in sf this weekend with all of my west cost buddies. Was so fun catching up with peeps. Saw two friends i have not seen in over 18 years i think.Crazy how time flys.

my bro and John O and Dianna who i have not seen in over 18 years. me and john used to be partners in crime back in the day. So glad to see this guy now when i go back to the city.

So glad to hang with my girl Rachel. This girl is so fun and full if life. So glad she was able to make it out to hang with us. We had a blast.

This is the view of Tunnel top. I really love this place. great lounge area. I always seem to go back here ever time i visit the city.

Yes we are all drinking, but i mean it is a bar.

The dc crew all seem to be in sf hahah. Joel was visiting from SD but my boy Genesh lives in sf now and my good friend Mina was visited for work. Seems like there is no sortege in supply of people i met in dc moving back to sf.

My Little Bros Boy

So I found out today my little bro Jack and his girl Tina just gave birth to a baby boy named Brandon. I am soooo siked about this I can not even explain. Out of the 4 of us he is the first one to have a kid and we are getting old. it is making me thing about how I really need to get going if i want to have kids some day. Yes I do want kids. I am not entirely ready yet but thinking about it more and more now.

I can only guess how happy my dad and mom are. They now have grandchildren and no longer will have to guilt trip us into having kids. Well who knows maybe i will still get it so there is an east cost kid since jacks is west cost hehe. But i could see the pride in my dads face when he talked about it this weekend and the joy in my mom voice over the phone. I think grand parents love being grand parents because they get the joy of the kids but do not have to go through the bad stuff. I am sure my mom and dad are like thinking "hmm now they will now what we went through raising you" hehe

Either way I am so excited to see little b-dog as I call him. I will have to get a flight to sf some time for sure. maybe a few month after he settles into his new home. Welcome Brandon we are so happy to have you here little buddy :-) and yes when you come visit i will play with you more then your old daddy will as my whole fam.ly knows how much energy i have to play with kids lol I am naturally still a kid hehe

PS: me and my bro when we were kids argued over who would have a kid first as who ever did would beat up the other kid hehe. So jack you beat me but my boy Willi already offered up his boy to my kids posse ( east cost baby ) so you best be ready son :-)

PSS: I love you bro can not wait to see you and Tina thanks for going through all of that well you know. I have seen at least 3 kids born and well let just say I am happy I do not have to do that :-)

Road Trip to Ohio

So with jamies wedding coming up my boy dave came up with this idea to go on a road trip. The planning was really funny took for ever for us to figure out what we wanted to do and things changed allot. I got worried the car would be to small ect. But man it was so worth it. A) when you go on a road trip you really get to bond closer with the people you do it with. I felt like this was the case for sure. Plus it was just a much needed catching up with some really good friends. I have known George and Dave for like 7 years or so and do not get to see allot of them these days. Also really great to have J-lo and Kev dog along the trip as they came up with many memorable things that were fun and funny.

The crazyiest thing was ending up at a frat party in west Virgina. Still no idea how that all happen so fast but yes mom i finally got to go to my first college frat party. it was like watching tv or something. Just way to funny.

The video shows it all :-)

Morgan Town Yall - yes we are tourist hehe

Eating at a nice Italian restaurant - yummy food

Chilin with the Frat boys - and off to the party we go

The last breakfast

Assateague Island Camping

Camping this year on Assateague was truly amazing. I was so looking forward to this year but had no idea how much i would love it. I finally decide to do a smaller trip with some friends instead of the huge trips that meetin does with 70 people plus over the years. I must say small is cool. For one thing there is no fight for a camping fire seat. Also you really get to talk to people more and just really get to know people. I think both trips hve there place. The big ones are great for meeting people and making new friends kind of what meetin does. But once you make some friends the smaller ones are really good to build your friendships. This trip was extra good because allot of the people who went are just insane crazy fun. We get wild and crazy. I love wild and crazy people. Fun to just get crazy dancing around a camp fire to an i-pod player or do a midnight swim in the ocean looking at the stars in the air. This year i got like 20 out of 23 people to swim the mid night swim. Last year 70 people went and only 7 would do it. There is something to say about small numbers you can really get more crazy and fun.

PS: yes the video does not lie. You camp on a beach with wild horse all around you. Its an amazing thing to do and i suggest doing it. If everyone gets there own food then the camping cost for 25 people on a site is like $7 each with fire wood. You can not beat the cost for how much fun it is. Do if some time if you get the chance.

The street fill up so much that at one point thought it was a street party. lol. But it was so cool that iI ran into so many friends and people i knew. Great party thanks Paul. Hope you had enough ice for you lol that was allot of ice you bought.

Water War III - This time its personal

The sun was hot and it made for a perfect day to shoot each other with water. Thanks for the extra water and really great fun spirits. I must say the dancing through the water firing squad in the video just makes me crack up every time. This was great fun but eating ice cream afterwards was also fun.

Philly Philly

So headed down to Philly again with my boy Will to close on yet another place. This puts me at 5 places in Philly and i am not looking forward to the hard work coming up next. But its all in a days work trying to do this as a business. You can not get anywhere in this life with out hard work. Anyways we headed down from dc at 5am. Way to earlier to be waking up. The place is a mess as you can see in the video. but once we get it completed we will transform it into a very nice rental property.

here is the video i shot. As you can see this place will be a new kitchen among other things. Like i said lots of hard work ahead.
