Future of Energy

So been recently reading allot about the "Stirling Energy Systems" used to make power from he sun witch then turn a turbine. This stuff seems to be really great. I am trying to figure out why the feds to not money up 20 bil or so to really test this out. I mean we have spent billions trying to build one clean coal plant that has failed. Why is everything in this country done for the good of lobbyist and not the good of the country its self. Anyways if you see this video you will see California is already way ahead of any of the other us states on this. Cali laws reflect and are similar to the ones in Europe. Have to give them credit they have almost met this. This is much better then many of the other countries in Europe even.

Char and CC's B-day

First off happy b-day char and cc. On Sunday i got to hang out with two friends i have knowns now for years. it was there b-day dinner. We had allot of fun. I just love little get together these days. Just a good time to talk get to know your friends better eat and drink hehe.

Easter in Va Beach

Had a great time in va beach over the easter weekend. Got to hang out with my family and see all of them. Very good time. Also got to hang out with my pops and lester. The warm weather had me so revved up for my annual va beach weekend that i do in june. Just ready to hit the beach and the sand and the POOL. God i can not wait until summer :-)

10,000 BC

So I went and saw 10,000 bc last night. not going to give the story line here but as most people now the movie was not based on fact but was told more like a legend or something like this. But it had me thinking about it. I had to research some of the things in the movie like Mammoth. Like I am sure many people did not know that the Mammoth lived up to 2000 BC. Not very long ago. Even though they were mostly gone by 4000bc or so there was a small heard on some island in Alaska most likely some place where humans could not hunt them.

But this all had me thinking. Ok I came home after the movie turned on my lights, popped some laundry real fast then poped in some dishes turned the heat up a tony bit all with in 5 minutes. In 10,000 bc i would have had to light a fire , wash clothes by the river for an hour and doing dish would not be as easy as putting a dishwasher. We have so much time on our hands because of machines and advanced tools. I mean this is just one little set of tasks there are many others things we also enjoy. Back in 10,000 bc things that take me 5 minutes now i would spend all week doing if you add in food. Just stuff to make you think.

Shamrock Fest 2008

This had to be one of the best shamrock fest's ever. I got together with a couple of my boyz. Me, Will, John, Liam, Dan and Mike hung out with us in the earlier part. We started out with a BBQ at my place then moved on to the main event.

This had to be one of the best ever. Just so fun seeing all of the crazy things people wear and all of the green and so many darn people. I really loved this one more then any other year and will be back for sure next year.

night went dancing with my friends. Always fun to hang out with all of these awesome people Like Jason,Steph,Romel,Bonnie,Rebecca,Chrstine,Mike,Joen,Bridgett and so many more. Why do i love these people. They are just so chil low drama just go out and have fun and thats all its about. Not issues just the love of life.

SATURDAY BABY SHOWER
Had a blast today going to mings and dennys baby shower. I adore these guys. I met ming like 6 years ago and we are still very good friends to this day. Some friends you meet and drift apart but me and ming in our own way still stay close friends even after 6 years. Sure she is having a kid and will be busy but i still think we will be able to keep in touch even though all of the growing up stuff we all have to do some day hehe - Ming Denny you guys ROCK!!!

Friday Day Poetry Hour

Ok so its raining out side and its Friday and I am board. How could one be board with a day off one may ask? well A) its raining B) I think i am so busy so much that I have a hard time relaxing these days. Just taking time out to do nothing. I need to practice on this more.

anyways its a good time to write and so i wrote this. Not sure if its a poem or not. One thing i liked about it is i focused on the colors part of the feelings. I know my writings suck so if anyone wants to help me spell check let me know hehe

=============COLORS OF A NIGHT =============

Green and Yellow is what you see, flickering candles light the club.
I can love, but I am scared to be loved back
Slow sounds of jazz in the distance.
There is a show tonight a performance of life.
Sitting there watching, in the distance, with smirks on there faces.
Actors in the movie called life. Pretending like nothing matters.

Red and white is the flavor of the night. Oh how it wets your palettes of desire.
The Jazz get louder. You pour some more wine.
You grab your wine with your red lips tasting it down, pushing it deeper into you, knowing it will change how you think and and feel.

Black and White is the talk of politics that no one really wants to share.
We all pretend our souls are immortal but we know deep inside they grow tired with age.
What is right for someone is not right for others.

Blue and Turquoise is the color of her eyes. You look deep into them but it scares you because you see yourself.

Shades of you are all of the colors you feel inside. Greed, lust, happiness, shame, and honesty, can the human spirit be more beautiful?

Well I had a conference call today with the architect of the new MEETinCAFE we are trying to build. its now one step closer LOL. I really do like the designs. These are very early stages. I am posting a link to the designs they came up with. I really like option 1 personally. But feel free to look over and give me your opinion on what design you like better.

Night of Two B-Days Parties

So two of my friends had b-day parties tonight. Bonnie and Brooke. Both turned 30. One was a chil party in a cool condo party room. Really nice place. The video shows it. The second party was a costume party people got all dressed up like a ball with cool masks and stuff. Good dance vibe.

One cool note on the second party. I love the belly dancer that is a cool party add on. Very neat.

Last night I went to an opening at the Corcoran school of arts. As always these shows are so fun. Everyone was dressed up really nice and the food was amazing. The had this awesome salmon ( not normally a big fan ) a really good apple salad with walnuts and the deserts were to die for. Some kind of whipped cream with peppermint chocolate chip ice cream type thing on it. Yummy it was really good.

The art show its self was very interesting. they had a bunch of artist but below are a couple patings and artist i saw.

American Idol - Photos Fun Times
